2,320. Re: Weber Gallatin. Be aware that Weber has recently moved away from the use of mahogany for mandolins (mostly) in an attempt to beef up their sound. The mahog backed instruments were not boomers, and were never intended to be. Beautiful sounding, but a little "delicate" for loud jams.
