The Teetotalist — Sacramento's first alcohol-free bar and social club — is operating inside Propagate throughout the month at 1700 I St. in midtown. Drinks include $11 to $14 specialty mocktails, $7 wines, $6 canned drinks, $10 teas and $5 beers, according to an Instagram post. Dry January is a popular challenge where people abstain from.

HOLIDAY POPS Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera

Description Free concert series each Saturday in June in a different East Sacramento park! Annual "POPS IN THE PARK" summer concert series! All concerts are free and open to the public and begin at 6:00pm. Food and beverages will be for sale, and proceeds go to neighborhood and park improvements.

Pops in the Park music performances are a beloved tradition in East Sacramento—an entertainment mainstay for 31 years. June is the traditional month for Pops. We had a two-year pause during the pandemic, but picked up the pieces last year with two great shows. People were delighted to have Pops back.


Pops in the Park ESCA

Pops in the Park has been a mainstay of East Sacramento community life for 30 years. Founded in 1991 by Councilmember Josh Pane and an assortment of go-getting community organizers, the festival has a fundraising twist and a strong emphasis on forging social cohesion through music, food, and sponsorship deals with local businesses.
