I have been successfully using an arcade xtensions controller to play 2 player street fighter v using a combo of vjoy and x360ce. Last week Capcom dropped support for directinput controllers and told users to use Steam's built in support. I suspected this would brick my setup but thought since x360ce is using xinput that it might not be affected.

Did you try to disable all Steam controller API options in Steam's Desktop+Big Picture Mode? and then deleting the file input.ini? Set your controller to PS3 mode, if available.

Bought SF V three years ago and I only play games during summer vacations. First summer I would play versus battles with my family using both controllers. Last year and now this year again, the second controller does not get detected. Multiplayer works for all other games but not SF V using the same two controllers.

I've been struggling this past years on frustration for not been able to play Street Fighter V with keyboard as player 1 and a Xbox 360 controller as player 2. When the controller is plugged in, it's being recognized as player 1, making the keyboard useless.
