Effective use of Black Arks? Hi, Just started a Lokhir Felhart campaign, and was wondering how do I use them properly or what their actual use is? Are they mainly used for transporting and supporting raiding armies in far off areas of the map?

How do you upgrade your Black arks? Do you upgrade the 'artillery' support? Is it worth it? How about the other support like slave pens and pits? (Unit level/xp and post battle bonus) I obviously go for growth but when it's fully upgraded I'm not sure to go for support or unit hire and internet is not really providing any insights. 10 8 comments

For Malus you don't even need to give him any army, you just always fight coastal battles by settlements and have the Black Ark reinforce. A fully upgraded black ark brings so much to the table, so upgrading them fully is high priority for any Dark elf faction. Are Black Arks just kind of broken? So I'm nearing the end point of my first Dark Elf vortex campaign and holy shit these things are good. I'm playing as Lokhir Fellheart too so he gets them basically for free. I didn't use them that much in the early game because I didn't realize just how good they were but fuck are they exploitable.
