I actually think Nate and Jenny would've been a good match in the show. Further to that a lot 'older' men are played by actors who are clearly not that much older than the rest of the cast. So serena and Carter's age gap doesn't look as odd as Jenny and Nate's. But I do agree there were tons of inappropriate relationships going on.
