What makes these photos special is that they provide further proof that there were Fw190D-9's with the tail of the Ta152. Previously only one photo of such a D-9 was known, an aircraft of werknummer 500645. The fact that 500647 is from the same Werknummerblock appears to prove that a small series of aircraft was built with this tail.

The camouflage was a RLM 76/75/83 painting in a very clean way. It was replaced with RLM 76/82/83 after WNR 210274.. Fw 190 D-9, Wnr. 600175, yellow 8 + l, 11./JG 26,. This colourful aircrafts was one of three D9 that were surrendered intact at the airfield of Schleswig-Land (Jagel) on 5 May 1945.

As usual Tamiya only refer to various paint mixes achieved by using their own brand of paints, without telling which RLM colours they're supposed to represent. :-P

Hi all, various sources state the presence still of some early versions of the "Wuerger" during 1945. Look, for instance, to following links: Accident Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 1249, 06 Jan 1945 Accident Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-6 550740, 14 Jan 1945 I couldn't find any photo or drawing showing a typical livery of these "early-late" birds: I wonder if they could be in late war colors (81/82/76) or in mid.
