"The Waitomo Express" is a 1918 Rail Carriage beautifully refurbished into a completely self contained motel unit. Having 2 separate bedrooms, the Waitomo Express sleeps up to 6 people with 1 Double Bed, and 2 sets of single bunks.. Like the other motels available at Woodlyn Park,the Hobbits are all self-contained with kitchens and own.

Woodlyn Park is very near the Waitomo Gloworm Caves. There are not many resaurants nearby but the one recomended by the lady at the front desk called "Huhu Cafe" was excellent. There is a shop/restaurant called "The General Store" nearby that sold me a bottle of spring water for $6 so beware the overpriced snacks/drinks.
