Acoma Pueblo ( / ˈækəmə / AK-ə-mə, Western Keres: Áakʼu) is a Native American pueblo approximately 60 miles (97 km) west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the United States. Four communities make up the village of Acoma Pueblo: Sky City (Old Acoma), Acomita, Anzac, and McCartys.

Sky City is located on top of a tall, sheer mesa, towering 376 feet above an open valley, surrounded by stone pinnacles and majestic buttes. The pueblo has been continuously occupied since at least 1150, possibly as early as 900 A.D.

The church of San Esteban del Rey is based on missionary churches found in Colonial Mexico, but combines local Indigenous techniques and architectural elements. Because it was the first mission built in New Mexico, it became the model for many others erected in this area.
