The Sigmund Thun Gorge is suitable for the whole family (dogs are also allowed) and illustrates the incredible powers of nature. Over time, the Kapruner Ache has made its way into the rocks and formed whirlpools and smooth areas. There is an entrance fee to visit the gorge (see tips). The glacier worked its way down through hard lime and slate rocks. Thousands of years later when the glacier was gone, it left behind a gorge with a length of 320 meter (32 meter deep).
