Brussels Airlines is pretty stingy with business class awards overall, though I've found that they have fairly good award availability from Brussels to New York (it's not nearly as good in the other direction). I managed to redeem miles for the following itinerary: 11/15 SN2104 London to Brussels departing 6:50AM arriving 8:55AM

REVIEW RATING: SEAT MAP: A330-300 BEN SAYS: While these refreshed A330s are nice, the service is unmemorable, and the lack of Wi-Fi is disappointing I had flown Brussels Airlines' A330 business class once before several years ago, but the airline recently introduced a new business class cabin, and I was excited to check it out.

One of the worse airlines I have ever travelled. Pathetic service, no punctuality, rubbish food, arrogant and rude staff, very uncomfortable seats.

A member of the Star Alliance, Brussels Airlines was formed through the merger of Virgin Express and SN Brussels Airlines. It is now partially owned by Lufthansa. The airline's fleet of aircraft includes some planes with just an Economy Class cabin, as well two-cabin planes (with Business Class and Economy Class) for long-haul flights..

Brussels Airlines releases a fair amount of award availability, but if you can't find availability on the JFK route, you can check its other North American routes -- Toronto (YYZ) and Washington, DC (IAD).

Brussels Airlines operates a mixed fleet of Airbus aircraft, specifically 22 A319s, 17 A320s, three A330-200s, and seven A330-300s. The smaller aircraft operate its Europe network and its larger A330s operate intercontinental routes. Today's flight, from Crete, Greece to Brussels, Belgium would be onboard an A320 and would take around three.

Conclusion The last time I flew Brussels Airlines business class was just before the pandemic. I enjoyed it back then and I can now thankfully report that the product has held up well: my flight from Brussels to JFK aboard the A330-300 was a delight thanks to top-notch catering by Do & Co and a spacious throne seat.

These 2 experiences where clearly showing that Brussels Airlines is considered being a low-cost (but at 200+€ without and 260+€ with luggage it's rather low-quality/high cost) carrier for the Lufthansa group…. Affordable "Premium Economy". I flew from Brussels International airport to Entebbe (Uganda) on a direct daytime flight. I paid a standard economy ticket and then paid another +- Euro 200 for a Premium Economy upgrade. This allowed me to sit in the first four rows of economy with more legroom, a more comfortable seat, a better quality meal and.
