The drive will take around 45 minutes from central Glasgow, or 1 hour 15 minutes from central Edinburgh. There is a car park located at the foot of the hill where the Monument stands, just off the A91.

Visitors can walk to the Monument (25 mins.) through the wooded slopes of The Abbey Craig, or use the shuttle bus service (4 mins.).
