Parc du Mugel et Calanques La Ciotat

The cove is bordered by Le Parc du Mugel, a famous botanical garden. It has two neighbors: Anse du Grand Mugel (to the north) and Anse du Sec (to the south). You can access the spot from Marseille (about 35 km away, 1-hour drive) or from Cassis (11 km away, 25-minute drive). Once in La Ciotat, follow Parc du Mugel/Calanques signs.

Le joyau du Mugel. La Calanque abrite un parc botanique « Le Parc du Mugel » qui invite à la promenade et à la découverte de nombreuses plantes de notre région, dont certaines très rares. Il présente une végétation dense comprenant de nombreuses essences : chênes verts, châtaigniers, lauriers nobles, chênes lièges, caroubiers.

About Waldemarsudde. Prins Eugen's Waldemarsudde is one of Sweden's most popular art museums, beautifully situated on Djurgården in Stockholm. The museum consists of a main building, the Mansion, built in 1903-1905 as a residence for Prince Eugen (1865-1947), and a gallery building that was added in 1913. Architect Ferdinand Boberg.
