A 5-minute walk up a steep incline from our hotel, Villa Angela, Al Saraceno was our "local." It wasn't a compromise though, as it turned out to have the best combination in Taormina of warm welcome, efficient service, incredible view from the rooftop terrace tables, great food and acceptable prices.
