My thoughts on Toga. I was re-watching the third movie and I can't help but feel that Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's father was possibly an idiot or really smart/brilliant. Why for being a possible idiot, I mean he had just fathered a hanyou and he very much knows the kid will have a hard life and I believe had he lived Inuyasha's younger life would.

As a daiyokai himself, Toga is the only one equipped to seal the dragon spirit's powers. The dog demon seals Ryukotsusei in a cliff face for 200 years by using his mighty fangs. Toga triumphs in the end, but the severe wounds from battle ultimately cause Toga's death. Honestly, any demon tough enough to take down Toga deserves some recognition.

lalaena. • 3 yr. ago. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think that Inuyasha not only hasn't surpassed Toga, but shouldn't surpass Toga. Inuyasha is half human. He will never be as powerful or as much of a badass as Toga. And that's ok - I think it's a good thing actually.
