In Aurach, at 1,080 m a.s.l., there is the "Wildpark Aurach", a game enclosure comprising about 200 animals. This leisure facility was established in 1972 by Dr. Heinrich Prinz Reuss on the area of the Branderhof, a farm that dates back to 1723.
