Henschel quickly took the first place in volumes of tank production. One of the first Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf. E, spring 1939. The volumes of the order indicate the height of expectations for the Z.W.38. The Wehrmacht ordered 759 PzIII tanks on June 11th, 1938, and an order for 440 more followed on December 6th.

Pz.II C on frozen pass. The Pz.II C has (on the surface) decent frontal armour, with 35 mm for the front plate with a section of heavily sloped 30 mm armour on the glacis, then a sloped lower glacis that has 35 mm as well. The side, rear, and hull roof armour are a paltry 15 mm, including the turret sides. The front turret face is 30 mm that do.

The Panzer II Ausf.J was a short-lived variant. The original order of 100 vehicles was canceled on the 1st of July 1942 due to construction efforts being focused on newer Panzer models. As such, only 22 of the vehicles were produced in total. In 1943, seven of the tanks were issued to the 12th Panzer Regiment, operating on the Russian Front.

The Panzerkampfwagen II Ausführung F (Panzer II F) ( Sd.Kfz. Index: Sd.Kfz. 121) is the sixth variant of the Panzer II light tank family. The Panzer II F variant was designed with thicker 30 mm armour on the tank hull's front and 30 mm armour on the turret's front.

The Panzer III Ausf.F succeeded the Ausf.E as the next of the Panzer III series of tanks and was essentially a refined version of its predecessor, with a few upgrades and modifications. The Ausf.F was produced in greater numbers than the Ausf.E, with over 400 built between 1939 and 1941.
