What I would like is being able to add the following (lifted liberally from this ): Depth pot Blend pot Volume pot 45/Normal/Script switch Any thoughts on this? Is it worth it?

MXR Phase 90 with Script Switch. A few people have requested this so I thought I'd better do it. This one includes the Script mod on a switch so you can choose either mode. Don't forget that you really need to match the JFETs for this. You may get lucky with an unmatched set but the better the match the better the effect, so it's worth a bit of.

Phase 90 mods In the summer on 2012 I was looking into a phase pedal. The obvious choice was the Phase 90 by MXR. Now they have a huge selection of phaser pedals. Sadly the one I wanted, script reissue with LED and DC power jack, was pretty expensive. The regular phase 90 was a lot less expensive compared to the script ones.

Re: Phase 90: Matched 2N5952 or just any J201. I think it comes down to whether you are likely to need a lot of transistors in your inventory along with a few sets of matched transistors. If you are doing multiple builds of a pedal that needs them, then it makes sense to match the transistors yourself.
