Marshall JCM 800 Bass Series + cabs (MidiPyrénées) Audiofanzine

15 Aug 9, 2021 #1 Hi all, I'm new here. I have bought this amp last weekend, the JCM800 bass series MK2 with 1935 cab. I think it was built in 1986, (or 1984 not sure though). I am curious about the amp, the controls especially the slope control and the mid sweep and like to know if there are any players using it with a guitar.

#1 Hi,first post here. Trying to get any info on a JCM800 bass series MKII Super Bass 100 watt model: 1992. Not much if anything is available. Heard there is a mod to make this amp nice for guitar. Has been used for bass for years. Brought to a tech for power tube replacement and biasing. Tech offered to buy it, no price was discussed.

#1 I just picked up a Marshall JCM800 Bass for cheap ($900 shipped). I think I want to mod it but I heard some are worth a good bit of money. Mine is a 50 watt with 6550's and verticle inputs. I could do the master volume mod myself. I haven't had a chance to look at the schematic to see if anymore "simple" mods are possible. BSRIAudio
