A true jewel of the Pays d'Auge located near Lisieux, the Château de Saint-Germain-de-Livet, listed as a Historic Monument, is remarkable for its architecture. Surrounded by a moat, it considers a half-timbered mansion from the end of the 15th century and a stone and glazed brick construction from the Pré d'Auge from the end of the 16th century.

Château Saint-Germain-de-Livet. Château Saint-Germain-de-Livet is located in the midst of Normandy's lush, rolling hills, about 10 mins outside of the town of Lisieux. Visiting the castle was one of the highlights of our day tour through the Pays d'Auge. It is picture perfect, complete with moat and swans.
