1.168 hm. 835 hm. Der allseits mit Felsen gepanzerte Puig Major ist von vielen Punkten der Insel aus zu sehen - aber leider militärisches Sperrgebiet. Für die Radarstation, die ihn heute "krönt", wurden die obersten Felsen abgesprengt, daher misst der höchste Gipfel der Insel nur noch 1436 m. Sogar eine (ebenfalls gesperrte) Straße zieht.
