Released in May 2008, the BMW E82 Mk.I (E82.I) 1-Series was a small, two-door coupe. Manufactured in Germany, the rear-wheel drive E82 1-Series coupe range initially consisted of two models: the 125i and 135i (the latter solely available as a 'Sport' variant). In November 2009, the range was expanded with the introduction of the 123d.
