Beautiful Bay Trail at Bere Point State Park Vancouver Island
Bere Point Regional Park. Length: 6.5 mi • Est. 2h 52m. This is a very beautiful trail that fully immerses you into the true feel of the rainforest. The trail is diverse and fairly well marked, with some boggy areas, lots of ocean view opportunities and chances to see wildlife and the beautiful trees and plants around you.

The regional park includes a pebbled and sandy beach, campsites, pit toilets, a boat launch and a day use picnic area with picnic tables and fire pits. Bere Point Regional Park is the main recreational park located on Malcolm Island.

This is a dry campground (no services), pit toilets located at Bere Point with beach access, whale watching platform, Beautiful Bay trail and 2 day parking areas. Reservations are strongly recommended, as island camping accommodations and ferry runs are limited.

Or they head for Bere Point Regional Park, the island's only public campground. It's the starting point for the Beautiful Bay Trail, which winds through rainforest along a rocky ridge that offers breathtaking ocean glimpses. Some hikers are lucky enough to witness a passing pod of orcas.
